A native of Danville, Virginia, Dr. Hickman graduated from Duke University and the University of Illinois School of Medicine. He completed his Internship at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio and his ENT Residency at Ohio State University. Dr. Hickman is Board Certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology and a Fellow in the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Hickman is also a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery, the Richmond Academy of Medicine, the Medical Society of Virginia, the Virginia Society of Otolaryngology and the Richmond Eye & ENT Society. He is a past president of the Virginia Society of Otolaryngology and the Richmond Eye & ENT Society. |

He completed his Surgery Residency at North Carolina Memorial Hospital and his ENT Residency at the University of Virginia. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology. After many years with Virginia Ear, Nose & Throat Associates as an ENT physician, he is presently responsible for allergy services, which offer testing, consultation, and treatment of inhalant allergies. |
