A native of Danville, Virginia, Dr. Hickman graduated from Duke University and the University of Illinois School of Medicine. He completed his Internship at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio and his ENT Residency at Ohio State University. Dr. Hickman is Board Certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology and a Fellow in the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Hickman is also a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery, the Richmond Academy of Medicine, the Medical Society of Virginia, the Virginia Society of Otolaryngology and the Richmond Eye & ENT Society. He is a past president of the Virginia Society of Otolaryngology and the Richmond Eye & ENT Society. |

A native of San Francisco, California, Dr. Perlman graduated from the University of Oregon and the University of Kansas School of Medicine. He completed his Internship at San Francisco General Hospital and his ENT Residency at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Dr. Perlman also served in the United States Navy Medical Corps. A native of Radford, Virginia, Dr. Tarasidis graduated from the University of Richmond and the Medical College of Virginia. He completed his Internship and Residency at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Dr. Tarasidis is Board Certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology and a Fellow in the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Tarasidis is also a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery, the Medical Society of Virginia, the American Medical Association, Richmond Academy of Medicine and the Virginia Society of Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery. He served on the Virginia Board of Audiology and Speech Language Pathology and the Board of Childhood Speech, Language and Hearing Center. Following a National Institute of Health research fellowship in otology, Dr. Rigby completed a fellowship in otology, neurotology and skull base surgery at University of California San Francisco. A native of Bethesda, Maryland, Dr. Newbill has lived in Richmond for 22 years. He graduated general from Duke University and the University of Virginia School of Medicine. He completed his Surgery Residency at North Carolina Memorial Hospital and his ENT Residency at the University of Virginia. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology. After many years with Virginia Ear, Nose & Throat Associates as an ENT physician, he is presently responsible for allergy services, which offer testing, consultation, and treatment of inhalant allergies. |
