Limiting visitors to our offices
In an attempt to protect patients, their families, providers, and staff from the spread of COVID-19, we are working to minimize the number of people coming into our offices. We ask that adult patients do not bring anyone, including children, with them to their appointments. If someone arrives with extra people, we will work on accommodating the appointment by shifting it to telemed or rescheduling to a better time.
For adult patients:
Adult patients cannot have anyone accompany them to their appointment. Exceptions are made for patients that are disabled or have dementia or if the patient is coming in for a hearing aid evaluation or fitting appointment.
For pediatric patients:
Pediatric patients can only have one parent or guardian accompany them to their appointment. Children other than the patient cannot attend.
For patients who are having surgery at the Virginia ENT Surgery Center:
We require all patients and accompanying parent/guardian wear a mask or face covering when entering the office. Anyone coming into the building is screened when entering by taking their temperature and being asked screening questions.
