Mandy Sanders earned her Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Radford University. Following her undergraduate studies, she attended the University of Virginia, where she received her master’s degree. She then completed a fellowship at the Mountain Home VA Healthcare Center in Johnson City, Tennessee before receiving her Doctor of Audiology degree from the University of Florida. Mandy is the director of the audiology department and has worked with Virginia Ear, Nose & Throat since 2001.
Mandy specializes in amplification and family-patient counseling for aural rehabilitation. She enjoys improving the lives of others by helping them restore their ability to communicate with loved ones and the world around them.
She grew up in a very small town in Southwest Virginia. Now, she loves Richmond’s proximity to the mountains and beaches, as well as all the fun that the city has to offer. She lives with her husband, their two girls and their dog. Outside of the office, she enjoys attending her girls’ sporting activities, gardening and spending time outdoors.
